We're finally creeping into fall, and that means one thing: People are really in the mood to eat apple desserts. Can you smell the cinnamon and sugar in the air? Well if not, we've got an easy and extremely affordable way to get your apple dessert fix.

These mini apple pies only need two ingredients and come together in minutes. Even better, they're great to prep ahead of time and incredibly affordable.

You'll need four things:

  • canned apple pie filling
  • an oatmeal creme pie
  • cupcakes or muffin liners
  • an air fryer (or your oven's convection function)

Press your oatmeal creme pie into a muffin liner so it fits along the bottom and the sides. Then, scoop in some apple pie filling and air fry (or bake) at 350 degrees F for 5 minutes. You can even do them up a little and add a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Of course, you don't have to stick to apple pie filling if that's not your thing. Any pie filling would work here: cherry, pumpkin, lemon creme. You could even use something else entirely like cheesecake filling or pudding.

And there's no reason to limit this treat to a single season. It's so simple it can truly be appreciate any time of year.
