Milwaukee homicide near 23rd & Hope: suspect sought

Police are investigating a homicide near 23rd and Hope on Friday night, Sept. 17.

The victim, a 48-year-old Milwaukee male, sustained a fatal gunshot injury.  The victim was located at the scene, MFD did not perform life-saving measures.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.

Police continue to seek an unknown suspect.    

An autopsy for the male victim is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 20.
