CBA vs. Central Square canceled
The Class A football game between CBA and Central Square on Friday night has been canceled because a Red Hawks football player has tested positive for Covid.
That necessitates the quarantine of several Central Square players, leaving the squad with too few to host the Brothers.
“The whole purpose of athletics is life lessons. You have to roll with the punches,” said Central Square coach Kevin Matteson.
CBA is 1-0 while Central Square is 0-1.
This is the second game this weekend canceled by Covid. The West Genesee-Carthage game was called off earlier this week.
