ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - A man was found with what appeared to be serious injuries from a gunshot wound in a vehicle that was crashed into a home in the 3400 block of Norway Ave NW in Roanoke Friday night.

While responding to that call, police were notified of another man who had been shot and arrived on his own at LewisGale Hospital.

Police say they believe both men were injured in a conflict outside a home in the 300 block of Juniper Street NW. Both men know each other.

It appears the man in the vehicle tried to leave the scene after being injured, resulting in the crash, according to police, who say no arrests have been made.

Roanoke Police say anonymous information can be shared by contacting 540-344-8500 or sending a text message to 274637 (beginning the message with “RoanokePD” so it is properly sent).
