Lisa Rinna is probably far from the only Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star to rejoice in her daughter, Amelia Hamlin’s, split from Scott Disick. As Kyle Richards put it, he’s just too damn old. Sutton Stracke saw this couple’s impending demise from a mile away. And while they had a solid few months, Rinna and Harry Hamlin probably celebrated their daughter’s breakup with a 38-year-old man with a habit of dating very young women once it was finally over for good.
Rinna appeared on Watch What Happens Live recently to dish about RHOBH and, of course, her supermodel daughter’s split from Scott. She was asked at one point what was the worst thing she said about Scott behind his back, People reports. And Rinna, who’s trying to come off as a new and improved good friend (mostly just to Erika Jayne) pulled out her new nice card. “You know, I’ve actually been quite nice about Scott Disick. And I would never say that out loud, anything,” Rinna said.
“I might have thought things that weren’t very good.” For once, Rinna seemingly learned how to keep her legendary lips sealed. Well, sort of. She’s definitely still not off the hook for her campaign to make Erika seem like a saint throughout her divorce from Tom Girardi and all of his fraud allegations.

Rinna went on to say she “wasn’t mean” when speaking about her relationship, even when she poked fun at it on RHOBH. “Listen, I tried really hard. I was really patient, and I tried really hard. We’ll leave it at that,” she added. So to translate, she’s just happy that Amelia wasn’t one of Dorit Kemsley’s first customers to buy a wedding dress to get married to Scott. She dodged a Kardashian-sized bullet, so it seems. As for Delilah Belle Hamlin, she might be allowed to sport a Dorit dress down the aisle way sooner than her sister.
The recent split also makes me wonder whether or not Amelia took back the motorcycle she got Scott to celebrate his midlife crisis most recent birthday. And if he wasted no time re-clicking the unfollow button of his newest ex’s Instagram. So Amelia’s hopes of being a Kardashian insider seem to be pretty distant these days. And it’s probably the best for all parties involved.
