It is now week five of the high school football season in Eastern North Carolina.
NewsChannel 12's Brett Kennedy is at the Southwest Onslow versus Wallace-Rose Hill game before The Blitz later Friday night.
Most teams are beginning conference play this week.
Southwest Onslow is still looking for their first win of the season.
Another game between conference, and in this case county rivals, New Bern is hosting Havelock in a matchup of unbeatens.
The teams haven't played since 2019 when the Bears won 28-13.
That game was Havelock head coach Allen Wooten's first game as Rams' head coach and junior quarterback Andrew Frazier was a 14-year-old freshman in that game.
Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
The Blitz will have highlights from the games in the area.
