Fox Crossing Police Chief Tim Seaver has announced his retirement
FOX CROSSING - Fox Crossing Chief of Police Tim Seaver announced his retirement Friday, effective Oct. 15.
According to a news release from the Fox Crossing Police Department, Seaver's retirement comes after a 35-year career in law enforcement, beginning in 1986 when he became a patrol officer with the North Fond du Lac Police Department, where he also worked as a K9 handler.
In 1989, Seaver joined the Menasha Police Department and held positions of police officer, K9 handler, field training officer and SWAT team member. In 2002, he became patrol lieutenant for the Town of Menasha — now Fox Crossing — and eventually became an administrative lieutenant before becoming police chief in 2017.
The Fox Crossing Police and Fire Commission will begin searching for Seaver's successor in the coming weeks.
