The Atlanta Falcons have had some historically great offensive players, especially during the past decade.

Think about all the great offenses you have seen the Falcons run onto the field recently.

The headliner was certainly the 2016 offense that was basically unstoppable. They were able to hang with anyone even though their defense was not solid until the postseason.

We all know how that year ended so we can ignore the last two quarters of that year. That offense was truly special in every way – running the ball, play-action passing, deep passing, and any other part that makes an offense great.

Here is a look at who would be on the Falcon’s all-time starting offense from past and present players.

Quarterback:

  • QB: Matt Ryan

There are really only two choices here for the Atlanta Falcons history – Matt Ryan and Michael Vick.

While there certainly is an argument for Vick as he was most certainly a flashier player during his career, Matt Ryan is the choice because he does more than just play the position at a high level.

Matt Ryan knows how to play quarterback with the best of them – and with all due respect to Michael Vick – Matt prepares for every Sunday in a way that Vick never did. He will get the team lined up correctly and hold everyone accountable. He is the definition of consistency and reliability.

Not to mention, he is a former NFL MVP, while also guiding the team to only their second Super Bowl in their history. When Matty Ice leaves or retires, no other Falcons quarterback in their history will be able to touch him.
