Kansas City Royals first baseman Ryan O'Hearn is not starting in Friday's lineup against the Seattle Mariners.
O'Hearn will sit on Friday night after Hunter Dozier was named Kansas City's first baseman, Kyle Isbel was shifted to right field, and Michael Taylor was announced as their starting center fielder.
Per Baseball Savant on 162 batted balls this season, O'Hearn has produced a 8.6% barrel rate and a .233 expected average.
