The release of Zack Snyder's Justice League was a major win not only for the director himself but for the entire comic book community as well and nearly seven months following its release on HBO Max, the famed Snyder Cut is still making an impact as it was finally released in physical formats. The years in the making flick dominated the disc sales charts for its first week and it's expected to continue riding the wave of momentum and sell more copies in the coming days.

According to a report from the good folks over at ComicBook, the four-hour DCEU flick oftentimes dubbed as the "real version" of Justice League has met and surpassed expectations, managing to "outpace The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It -- the #2 seller for the week -- by a 5-to-1 margin. A boxed set of Snyder's three DC films -- Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Zack Snyder's Justice League -- also cracked the top 20, showing up at #14."

The hype surrounding the Snyder Cut is still quite evident and it's a shame that Warner Bros. seemingly couldn't see the drawing power it has. Of course, we all know that the studio along with DC Films are still adamant about moving away from the SnyderVerse completely and by the looks of it, it's safe to say that we've seen the last of Zack in the DC Extended Universe.

I'm still personally bummed out about it but hey, at least we can still say that we won in the end and got the film we deserved. It wouldn't hurt to see Justice Leagues 2 & 3 though but yeah, I guess it's time to move forward.

Zack Snyder's Justice League is still streaming on HBO Max. It's also now available for purchase on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K UHD.
