Terry McAuliffe spoke to voters in Fairfax today. His key message: Vote now.
The Democratic candidate for governor was joined by a crowd of supporters, including House Speaker Eileen Filler-Corn.
McAuliffe urged voters to exercise their right to vote.
He says with 45 days left until Election Day, voters have the privilege to vote at their convenience.
“I cannot tell you how much I appreciate all of the support you have given us in the past, but you need to vote," McAuliffe said. "A lot of people show up in presidential years. We have 45 days. Early voting starts today. We need to get every single Virginian out to vote.”
Also joining McAuliffe and his team today was former Delegate Republican Dave Ramadan. Ramadan heads up 'Republicans for McAuliffe.'
He says this election is above party lines. It is about finding a leader to move Virginia forward and out of this pandemic.
