Lisa Carrol Norris, 67, of Middletown, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family Sept. 4, 2021. She was born in Jersey City and resided in Middletown for most of her life. Lisa worked for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority until her retirement. Her grandchildren and family were her life. She loved to garden and collect seashells at the beach. She also loved having movie nights and trips to Atlantic City and Florida. She was happiest when she knew that the ones she loved where happy and healthy. Anyone who knew her knew that she was selfless, kind and caring.

Surviving are her daughter Cheryl DePuma of Keansburg; son David DePuma (Jessica Schroepfer) of Middletown; her grandchildren Ariana and Patrick Gazzillo and Paige Brady, Robert, Nicholas and Joy DePuma; her best friend Mary Johnson; her “adopted” children Christine Mattey and Danielle McGrath and her “adopted” grandchildren Megan Shanahan, Samantha Mendez and Caleigh Cribbin. Also surviving are her siblings, Bruce, Linda, Clark, Kathy and Georgette Norris; several nieces and nephews, along with a few great-nieces and nephews. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Clark and Julia Norris; brother Loring Norris; and her husband Robert Ciangiotto.

Burial was held Sept. 14 at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements are under the direction of John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
