    King Philip’s War reenactment returns to Mystic

    Mystic — The Denison Homestead will hold its annual King Philip's War Encampment on Sept. 25 and 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    Admission is free and the event is open to the public.

    Visitors can interact with Colonial and Native American reenactors and watch them skirmish, visit their encampments and learn about camp life in the 1670s.

    The museum itself, at 120 Pequotsepos Road, is closed due to restoration work. Special tours can be arranged by scheduling an appointment.
