On September 4, partial human remains were discovered in rural West Point.
The next day nearby property owners helped law enforcement discover the rest of the remains, which were on their property.
The medical examiner was able to positively identify Bunnell through a medical device implanted in his body.
Sheriff Weber says they do not suspect foul play.
