The Quincy Knights of Columbus has their drive-thru only chicken dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. Come in at the south end of the grounds near the driving range.

The annual Jackson Lincoln-Swimming Complex Ben Bumbry Memorial Banquet starts at 5 p.m. Friday in the Quincy University Hall of Fame Room, remembering the late Ben Bumbry and celebrating supporters of the pool.

The Hannibal Rotary Club's annual Harvest Hootenanny runs from 5 to 10:30 p.m. Friday and from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the Mark Twain Cave Complex south of Hannibal. There will be vendors, music, food and beverage.

The Hannibal Parks and Recreation Department hosts a Night Hike through Sodalis Nature Preserve in Hannibal, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Chances are you'll get to see some bats.

The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center celebrates its tenth anniversary with an open house from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, with food trucks, a digital photo booth and more.

Hannibal's 3rd annual Walk to End Alzheimer's is Saturday at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center, with registration at 8 a.m., an opening ceremony at 9 and the walk about 9:30.

There's a Red Cross Blood Drive at Rooney Elementary School in Quincy from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Antioch Baptist Church in Hannibal celebrates its sesquicentennial this weekend, with activities and supper at 3 p.m. Saturday, followed by a celebration service and ice cream social at 5:30. There will be Sunday School, morning worship and a cookout Sunday, beginning at 9:45 a.m.

It's Shakespeare in the Park on the grounds of Grace Episcopal Church in Clarksville, as The Changelings Theater Company presents Romeo and Juliet at 6 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

The Hannibal Arts Council hosts an Arty Party from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at 105 South Main. Blooming Bouquet is the project and Brenda Beck Fisher is the project leader.
