It can't be denied that Din Djarin and Grogu have such great chemistry and dynamic together and it's definitely one of the reasons why The Mandalorian has been able to keep fans glued to their streaming devices. However, it looks like we won't be seeing them together for a while as Season 2's grand finale pretty much confirmed that Mando and Baby Yoda will be going on their separate ways

Speaking of the beloved Star Wars duo, a new book chronicling the art direction of Season 2 is set to hit shelves soon and its cover image will absolutely pull your heartstrings. Lucasfilm icon Doug Chiang was responsible for the awesome cover of the new The Art of Star Wars: The Mandalorian (Season 2) which features a touching moment between the titular bounty hunter and the Force-wielding Child. With Season 3 shifting its focus on Mando and Bo-Katan's titanic clash for the Mandalore throne, it's already safe to assume that Grogu will have a minor role at least for the upcoming season. Not unless Favreau and Filoni decide to squeeze in his side arc with Luke Skywalker which obviously deserves its own series. Heck, there's even a slight chance that we won't be seeing Grogu return until probably the finale of Season 3 just so fans can truly feel the gravity of Djarin and Kryze's ongoing story. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Meanwhile, The Mandalorian Season 3 is expected to drop sometime in early 2022.
