Despite the warm days and summer-like weather lingering well into September, there is no denying that autumn is right around the corner. Now that August is over and school is in session, Rhode Island families will be trading summer beach time for a weekends of arts and crafts, antiques, apple cider and pumpkins — lots and lots of pumpkins.

Last weekend the 33rd Annual Apple Festival, Gaspee Days Fall Arts & Crafts Festival, Rhode Island Seafood Festival and the opening days of the weeklong Pawtucket Arts Festival helped kick off a fun fall.
