Orchard Park, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills have three players whose status is unknown for Sunday’s road opener against the Miami Dolphins.
Wide receiver Gabriel Davis (ankle), defensive tackle Star Lotulelei (calf), and defensive end Efe Obada (calf) are all listed as questionable for the game on the Bills’ Friday injury report.
Davis sustained the ankle injury last week and he didn’t practice on Wednesday and was seen at the facility with the ankle taped. He was limited on Thursday and Friday.
Lotulelei missed last week’s game against the Steelers but he’s practiced all week and was full on Friday. Obada‘s calf injury happened during Friday’s practice. He played the lowest number of snaps (15) of all nine defensive linemen that were active against the Steelers. With Lotulelei potentially back vs. the Dolphins, Obada may have been the odd man out anyway, but it’ll be worth monitoring before the game to see which group the Bills use in Miami.
The Dolphins were hoping to get back speedy receiver Will Fuller for this week’s game but he was ruled out on Friday by Miami coach Brian Flores. Fuller is dealing with a personal issue and Flores declined to say how long Fuller will be out for.
Bills linebacker Matt Milano has been dealing with an ankle injury all week but he was a full practice participant the past two days after being limited on Wednesday.
