NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Puma and rapper J. Cole have teamed up to release sneakers inspired by the city's E subway line.

The 36-year-old North Carolina native moved to New York City when he was younger to attend St. John's University in Queens. The E train runs between Queens and Manhattan.

"From attending St. John's University in Hilcrest, Queens to selling out shows at the Garden, Cole's journey through the City that Never Sleeps represents what it means to be a Dreamer," according to Puma.

The shoe maker added, "The DREAM BLUE 'E-LINE' pays homage to the MTA line that connects Queens and Manhattan, two of the most important boroughs to Cole. More than that, though, it's a reminder to all Dreamers to never forget the places that make us, even when the lights shine their brightest."

The all-blue (of course!) sneakers retail for $125 and is available for purchase now via PUMA.com.
