A convicted felon is heading back to prison after pleading guilty to drug and gun possession.
Ronnie Jordan, 34, of Rochester pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court Friday to possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and heroin and being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
The charges carry a maximum of penalty of 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
Jordan was arrested in September 2019 by Rochester Police. A search warrant at his St. Paul Street residence yielded approximately 33 grams of crack cocaine, 23 grams of fentanyl/heroin, 11 small plastic bags containing fentanyl, 12 envelopes containing a mixture of fentanyl and heroin, 3.5 grams of methamphetamine, and materials used to package illegal drugs for sale. A loaded semi-automatic pistol and ammunition were also recovered.
At that time, authorities say Jordan was also running a drug house on Lorimer Street. During the execution of a search warrant, officers found two workers inside, as well as crack cocaine, a pistol magazine, drug packaging materials, and $648 in cash.
In May 2006, he was convicted in Monroe County Court of first-degree burglary, which prohibits him from having a gun.
He will be sentenced Dec. 14.
