Armando Ponce Reyes, Jr., of Fort Stockton, Texas, reunited with his Lord on Sept. 13, 2021, in El Paso, Texas, at the age of 45.

Armando P. Reyes, Jr., was born in Fort Stockton, Texas, to Armando Reyes, Sr., and Martha Ponce on June 4, 1976. He was employed with Jet Specialties. The loves of his life were his two boys, his parents, his siblings, his family, and we cannot forget his love for the Dallas Cowboys. He was beyond excited to meet his first grand baby, Ava Grace Reyes.

Armando is survived by his father Armando Reyes, Sr.; children Armando Reyes III (Bailey) of Midland, Texas, and Alejandro Reyes of Fort Stockton, Texas; grand daughter Ava Reyes of Midland; sisters Alma Velasquez (Juan), Adrianne Rivera (Andres), Becky Cabello (Adan), Marisela Jaquez (Gilbert), maternal grandmother Beatriz Ponce; nieces and nephews Jazmin Velasquez, Jennifer Velasquez, Juan Velasquez, Jade Velasquez, Adrianne Rivera, Adamari Rivera, Azariah Rivera, and Adriel Rivera; and his significant other Nelda Leyva.

Armando was proceeded in death by his mother, Martha P. Reyes; maternal grandfather Filemon A. Ponce and paternal grandparents Jesus and Ramona Reyes; uncle Joe Luis Reyes; and cousin Eli Ponce.

Visitation was Sept. 19, 2021, at Eternity Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Sept. 20, 2021, at Templo Los Olivos with Pastor Joe Carrasco officiating. Burial followed at East Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Armando Reyes III, Alejandro Reyes, Mark Reyes, Sergio Reyes, Christian Rodarte, Eric Ramirez, Aaron Lujan, and Jacob Fragoso. Honorary Pallbearers were Rudy Encinas, Hugo Gallegos, Alan Hernandez, Oscar Gallegos, Aaron Hernandez, Adan Cabello, and Gilbert Jacquez.
