The Truth About Kenan Thompson's Wife

Kenan Thompson is a comedian who originally got his start by appearing on 1990s Nickelodeon shows "All That" and "Kenan and Kel." In 2003, Thompson joined the cast of "Saturday Night Live," making him the first cast member born after the show's 1975 premiere, per Insider. After appearing on 18 years worth of seasons and counting, he also holds the record for being the longest-appearing cast member.

When it comes to Thompson's personal life, the comedian has been married to actor, interior designer, and model Christina Evangeline since 2011. The couple reportedly met through Danny Estrada, a talent manager, per Good Housekeeping. Since then, they've had two children together: Georgia in 2014 and Gianna in 2018. "I think the biggest wake up call is how immediate it is. One day you're not a dad and then the next moment you are. You're just a dad from that point on," Thompson told People about fatherhood in 2020.

So, who is the person who won Thompson's heart and had his kids? Here is the truth about Kenan Thompson's wife, Christina Evangeline.

Kenan Thompson's wife, Christina Evangeline, frequently shares family photos

Not shying away from the public eye, comedian Kenan Thompson's wife, model and actor Christina Evangeline, shares lots of photos of their family on Instagram. One photo showed their daughter, Georgia, joining Thompson from the judges' chairs on "America's Got Talent" in August 2020. Evangeline captioned it, "This summer Georgia has been OBSESSED with America's Got Talent. ⁣Omg, this child could tell you about the life story of any person who's ever been on the show." She added that Georgia asked her if she saw her "steal the show." In a post from May 2020, she shared a video of both her daughters swinging on a bench and telling their father how much they love him.

Evangeline loves sharing her family life on social media, but she doesn't forget to shower her husband with love, too. In a post that showed Thompson speaking on stage at the Emmys in 2018, she gushed abut how hard-working he is. "I've been blessed to watch this man crush ANYTHING he's attempted to do since 2008! Seriously anything, he is so talented," she said. "You're such a staple and a rock in my life, her life, his life, everyone's life, lolol.. I am so thankful to call you my best friend," she added. How sweet!

Kenan Thompson considers Christina Evangeline when it comes to his career

Given Kenan Thompson has a large role in both "Saturday Night Live" and his sitcom, "Kenan," which premiered in February, a large chunk of his time is spent away from his family. Thompson touched on this in a February interview with Yahoo! News, and specifically mentioned how his future on "SNL" depends on his wife, Christina Evangeline.

"As long as my wife is not overly upset about all the travel or the back and forth or not being at home enough of it all, I'd like to keep working, man," Thompson explained. "It's not that much of a burden on me like that. Like, I've been doing it for so long, like, I know how it works. So the challenge is kind of on myself, however much I want to, you know, give to it or try to create new things and stuff like that." He added that he would love to reach a 20-season milestone with the show. "It's so close, and that's a cool number," he said.

Considering how supportive Evangeline is of his work, it seems like Thompson will reach that goal with no problem.
