An auto-pedestrian crash killed a woman on 4th Avenue South; DUI suspected (Seattle, WA)

On Wednesday, a female pedestrian lost her life after being hit by a vehicle in a suspected DUI accident on 4th Avenue South.

As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the 2400 block area after receiving reports of an auto-pedestrian crash. On arrival, the officers found a woman on the road with serious injuries. Paramedics tried their best to revive the victim, but she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

The investigation reports showed that the authorities took the driver in custody. They shifted the driver to a nearby hospital for a mandatory blood draw. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
