Ben Affleck Back On Dad Duty After Flaunting PDA-Heavy Romance With Girlfriend Jennifer Lopez At Met Gala, Venice International Film Festival

After playing the role of loving boyfriend to Jennifer Lopez at the Met gala and Venice Film Festival, Ben Affleck is back to playing his best role, father.

The 49-year-old actor enjoyed a lunch date with his three kids — daughters Seraphina, 12, and Violet, 15, and son Samuel, 9 — in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, September 16.

Affleck ditched his red carpet tuxedo for a more casual look sporting a plaid button down shirt and khaki pants. His adorable kids — who he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner — also went low-key in jeans, casual pants and tee’s.

The family outing comes shortly after the Argo director and his main squeeze Lopez set the internet ablaze after the lovebirds made their red carpet debut at the Venice Film Festival a week ago.

The rekindled flames — who called off their 2003 wedding — stepped out together to support Affleck’s new film The Last Duel on Friday, September 10.

The 52-year-old former Fly Girl looked flawless in a white Georges Hobeika Couture gown that featured a thigh-high split, ruffled skirt and a string of Swarovski crystal embellished neckline. Her beau looked dapper in a classic tuxedo with black shoes and a chic bow tie.

The duo, who reconnected in April after her split from slugger Alex Rodriguez, stayed close to one another as they held hands and posed for snaps.

Lopez and the Batman star last walked a red carpet as a couple in 2003, when they attended the premiere of the critically panned film Gigli. The duo were engaged at the time, but called it quits a year later.
