Scott Van Pelt picks Alabama, UF Gators football
Scott Van Pelt picked the Florida Gators to cover the 14.5-point spread.
"Do you play any blackjack? Of course you do, because you're watching Winner$," Van Pelt said. "Is it any fun when you have to hit 16 against a face card or an ace? No, but you do it because them's the rules.
"Like hitting 16 against a face or an ace, I'm taking Florida and the 14 1/2 against 'Bama. It just feels like what the card would tell me to do. But going against the Tide is the worst."
A graphic on the screen said Van Pelt is 5-8 all-time picking against Alabama.
