Five Hudson Valley businesses were busted allegedly selling alcohol to minors.

On Wednesday, members of the Town of Wallkill Police Department, Ron Rollings of the Town’s Building Department and Investigator Martin Rafferty from the New York State Liquor Authority conducted an initiative to determine if retail businesses and restaurants were selling alcohol to minors.

The following individuals were arrested after allegedly being observed selling alcohol to a juvenile:

Each was charged with unlawfully dealing with a child and issued an appearance ticket to appear at the Town of Wallkill Court on Sept. 29, at 9:00 am.

"This ongoing effort is meant to curb the illegal sale of alcoholic beverages to minors in the Town of Wallkill. The use of alcohol by minors is illegal and threatens their well-being while simultaneously having a detrimental impact on the quality of life in our Town. We will continue to work with our partners in the community to identify and address conditions that threaten the welfare of our youth or diminish the quality of life in the Town of Wallkill," the Town of Wallkill Police Department said in a press release.

Additionally, Beer World, Discount Beer and Smoke Shop, Silverlake Deli and Mobil Gas Station were cited for alleged undisclosed building code violations.

A 43-year-old Monticello woman who works at Beer World on 590 Route 211E.

A 19-year-old Walden woman from Discount Beer and Smoke Shop on 779 Route 211E.

A 32-year-old Middletown woman who is employed by the Silverlake Deli at 588 Silverlake Scotchtown Rd.

A 36-year-old Middletown woman who works at Lakes Deli at 2092 Route 302.

A 52-year-old Bloomingburg woman from Mobil Gas Station at 279 Bloomingburg Rd.
