ANN ARBOR – Another Friday means another Game Day for Ann Arbor-area high school football teams.

We’re nearing the halfway point of the season with Week 4 action and MLive has you covered with everything you need to know heading into tonight’s matchups.

Huron kicker powers way to Player of the Week honors

Adam Samaha has solidified himself as one of the state’s top kickers and showcased his skills again last week.

The Ann Arbor Huron junior kicker nailed two 30-plus-yard field goals to help the River Rats defeat rival Pioneer, 34-0. He wasn’t done there as he also connected on all six extra point attempts and had six touchbacks on kickoffs in the win.

Thanks to that performance, Samaha was selected as the Player of the Week for Week 3, amassing 13,650 votes.

He beat out Saline running back Ryan Niethammer who finished second with 11,301 votes.
