Inter Milan and Bologna meet at Giuseppe Meazza in Serie A this Saturday on Paramount+ with both having made good starts to the season, taking seven points from a possible nine in three unbeaten games. Simone Inzaghi's men drew with Sampdoria last time out while Bologna beat Hellas Verona in what turned out to be Eusebio Di Francesco's final match in charge. This clash finished 1-0 the last time they met but Inter's lone scorer Romelu Lukaku has since moved on.

Storylines

Inter Milan:

Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa lead the way for Inter so far this season with two goals each and the Nerazzurri are coming off the back of a narrow midweek UEFA Champions League loss to Real Madrid. Also, the defending champions are unbeaten at home since October 2020 when they lost to Parma in a run which spans 18 games.

Bologna:

Lorenzo De Silvestri has two goals to his name this season to rival Inter pair Martinez and Correa, but the Rossoblu are not the best travelers and are now five without a win on the road. The last time Sinisa Mihajlovic's men won away from the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara was back in March against Crotone.

Prediction

The hosts to come away with the points but the visitors to make things hard for them. Sampdoria have shown how Inter can be frustrated domestically while Real have added to that with a first defeat in Europe. Bologna will need to follow Sampdoria's approach and are led by someone in Mihajlovic who knows the club well. Pick: Inter 2-1 Bologna.
