Jade Thirlwall just had the best comeback after Noel Gallagher insulted Little Mix - and you need to hear it.

Her comments come after Noel shared his views on Little Mix's big win at the Brit Awards earlier this year, with the girl band picking up the gong for Best British Group back in May.

Jade plus bandmates Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and ex-Little Mix member Jesy Nelson made history with their win, becoming the first girl band ever to win Best British Group.

However, a month later, former Oasis band member Noel addressed the win and insulted the band in the press, telling The Sun, "Little Mix, with the greatest respect, are not in the same league as Oasis. Not even in the same f***ing sport."

Now, Jade has responded to Noel's comments with the best comeback - and it's iconic.

Appearing on an upcoming episode of Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Jade addressed the criticism, saying, "Noel did [slag us off]. Something about that we were undeserving of the Brit Award because we’re women and don’t - well we do write music - but he thinks we don’t write music."

"Yeah, shame really," she continued, adding, "Because you know, we are definitely the most successful girl group in the country, but he’s not even the most successful performer in his family!"

Ouch.

Jade's comments, referring to Noel's role in Oasis alongside his brother Liam Gallagher, were shared on the Radio Times podcast ahead of Never Mind the Buzzcocks airing - and we can't wait to see what else Jade has to say during the episode.

Acknowledging their history-making win in their acceptance speech back at the Brits in May, Jade, Perrie and Leigh-Anne told fans:

"It's not easy being a female in the pop industry. We've seen the sexism and lack of diversity. We're proud of how we've stuck together, stood our ground, surrounded ourselves with strong women and are now using our voices more than ever. The fact that a girl band have never won this award really speaks volumes. So this award isn't just for us, it's for the Spice Girls, the Sugababes, All Saints, Girls Aloud. All the incredible female bands, this one's for you."

Keep the comebacks coming, Jade.
