The Mandalorian and Breaking Bad star Giancarlo Esposito has joined new Netflix heist drama series Jigsaw.
Described as a "non-linear" show, the eight-episode show is loosely based on a real story where $70 billion in bonds went missing in Manhattan during Hurricane Sandy.
Jigsaw's plot spans 24 years with the largest heist ever attempted, depicting the vengeance, scheming, loyalties and betrayals around it.

Esposito is set to take on the role of Leo Pap, described as a smart and natural leader who became a thief at a young age – and while he had a chance to get away from his criminal life, his relapse costed him his family and freedom.
Also joining the cast are The Suicide Squad's Jai Courtney, The OA's Paz Vega, Victoria's Rufus Sewell, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina's Tati Gabrielle, The Americans' Peter Mark Kendall, Ramy's Rosaline Elbay and Here and Now's Niousha Noor.
Jigsaw is created by Eric Garcia, with Ridley Scott among the executive producers for the series.

Meanwhile, Esposito recently gave fans an update on The Mandalorian's third season, teasing that there is more to come from his villain Moff Gideon.
"They just finished shooting Boba Fett and soon they will start on season three," the star confirmed to GalaxyCon Raleigh.
However, he assured fans that co-star Pedro Pascal's filming of HBO's The Last of Us won't delay production, saying that they "never have to wait on Pedro".
Jigsaw will stream on Netflix. The Mandalorian seasons 1 and 2 are streaming now on Disney+. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and the entire Skywalker Saga are available on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K now, as well as on Disney+, while Rise of Skywalker is also on Sky Cinema Premiere and NOW.
