Coronation Street's Tyrone risks further humiliation after Alina's exit

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Tyrone Dobbs risks making matters worse tonight (September 17) as he remains humiliated following rejections from Fiz Stape and Alina Pop.

Thursday's hour-long episode saw Tyrone (Alan Halsall) make an ill-fated attempt to reunite with Fiz after Alina left for Romania.

As Fiz is moving on with her new love interest Phill, it was a tough moment for Tyrone as he realised that he'd been left with nobody.

In Friday's double bill, Tyrone's week goes from bad to worse as Phill turns up to drop off his car at the garage for a repair.

Tyrone is clearly jealous of Phill, so takes advantage of the situation by searching through his vehicle looking for something incriminating.

Tyrone believes that he has struck gold when he finds a napkin with a woman's name and number written on it.

He pockets the suspicious item, despite warnings from Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) that this could mean anything and he's risking making a fool of himself by meddling.

Later on, Tyrone arrives at Fiz's place for babysitting duty.

When Phill arrives to take a glammed-up Fiz out on a date, Tyrone's envy goes into overdrive and he drops the bombshell that he knows about Phill's "other woman".

Has Tyrone managed to catch out Phill, or will Kevin's warning about him misinterpreting the situation prove correct?

Thursday's episode ended with one final surprise for Alina's storyline, with hints that she'd lied to Tyrone about not being pregnant.

Ruxandra Porojnicu, who played Alina, has now left Coronation Street after a two-year stint in the role.
