Odette moving away; Peter close to forming
Odette will stay well offshore of the U.S. coastline.

Atlantic Ocean (WITN) - Tropical Storm Odette became the 15th named storm of the 2021 Atlantic Hurricane season. The system should hold storm status for about 24 hours before running into cooler sea surface temperatures and weakening as it moves out to sea.
Elsewhere in the tropics, a strong tropical wave is located midway between the Antilles and the Verde Islands. Storm development is at 90% over the next 5 days. The next storm name will be Peter. A 3rd tropical wave is a few hundred miles west of Africa and has a 30% to develop over the next 5 days. Rose would be the next name on the list.
