37-year-old man shot and killed in Trenton, authorities say

A 37-year-old man was shot and killed in Trenton early Friday, authorities said.

Jeff Charles, of Trenton, was gunned down shorty before 1 a.m. in front of a home on the first block of Race Street, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said.

Charles was pronounced dead at the scene after being found shot multiple times.

The shooting remains under investigation and no arrests have been announced.
