It looks like Ubisoft will be releasing a next-gen upgrade for Ghost Recon Breakpoint later this month. The leaked content includes a brand new key art as well as September 29 release date.

Ubisoft's tactical shooter Ghost Recon Breakpoint was not received well on launch. The game suffered from many issues and a lack of content, which was a huge letdown for the fans of the much better predecessor Ghost Recon Wildlands.

However, the devs have been working hard on the game since then and introduced several major updates, including AI teammates and options for more realistic gameplay scenarios.

And it looks like another major update will be coming soon to Breakpoint. According to the data-mined information from the Microsoft Store, Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be getting a proper PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S version later this month.

Windows data miner Aggiornamenti Lumia , reveals the release date for September 29, 2021, for Xbox Series X and Series S and presumably PlayStation 5 too. The leaked artwork for the game, which you can check out above, includes Microsoft's "Series X|S" badge, which is usually used on games that have true next-gen versions.

Ubisoft have not yet revealed such an upgrade but it's safe to say that it's only a matter of time before that happens.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is already available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S with some enhancements but the full upgrade should bring many additional improvements. Perhaps we'll see some ray-tracing too? Who knows.
