Martin Braithwaite is facing a lengthy lay-off after the Denmark international underwent knee surgery this week.

Koeman is also continuing to wrestle the absences of Sergio Aguero, Ansu Fati and Ousmane Dembele, while Jordi Alba and Pedri suffered muscle injuries against Bayern. 18-year-old Alejandro Balde, who came on against Bayern should continue at left-back.

Granada, meanwhile, are likely to be without the services of Neydar Lozano, although boss Robert Moreno will be buoyed by the recent return of Darwin Machis with Carlos Bacca expected to lead the line.

Barcelona vs Granada predicted lineups

Granada: Escandell; Diaz, Duarte, Sanchez, Neva; Gonalons, Milla, Monchu; Suarez, Bacca, Puertas

Barcelona vs Granada head-to-head record

Granada's all-time record against Barça is turgid. Out of 52 previous meetings they have avoided defeat on just 11 occasions, winning seven and drawing four.

That is why it was such a shock when they beat the Blaugrana 2-1 in the pair's last game back in April.

Granada also secured a shock win back in the 2019/20 season. Both results will give them hope for Monday's game.

Barcelona vs Granada score prediction

Barca will likely be impacted by their disappointment in midweek and the atmosphere in the Camp Nou is likely to reflect as much.

The arrival of Luuk de Jong from Sevilla to offset Antoine Griezmann's deadline day exit has weakened Barcelona's front line, but Memphis Depay has been in dazzling form for club and country, scoring or assisting in every one of Barcelona's league outings so far.

Koeman does face a team selection conundrum in the forward areas following Braithwaite's injury, with Yusuf Demir a possible replacement, but Barcelona still boast enough quality to make it an uncomfortable evening for Granada.

Their opponents will offer resistance in the early exchanges, but expect Barça to take control to alleviate some of the pressure on Koeman's position.

Prediction: Barcelona 2-0 Granada
