The stunning run came at the beginning of 2022, when Scheffler got into the winner's circle after claiming the Waste Management Phoenix Open title. This came in a playoff over fellow American Patrick Cantlay and earned him $1,476,000.

He then went on to win his second PGA Tour title just a couple of events later, with a final-round 72 in tough conditions at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, giving him a one shot win and a $2,160,000 paycheck.

More followed as, just three weeks later, he secured the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play. Defeating Kevin Kisner in the final to win $2,100,000, his biggest winning cheque to date came in his very next event, the 2022 Masters. He managed to blitz the field to win $2.7 million and, in the process, won a Green Jacket which perhaps has an unquantifiable impact on a player's net worth. His biggest cheque to date came at the 2023 Waste Management Phoenix Open, where he picked up $3.6 million.
