Sergio Aguero has been set a target return date after weeks out with injury.

The Argentine has endured a nightmare start to life at Camp Nou following his free transfer from Manchester City this summer.

First he saw close friend Lionel Messi leave the club, and then he was dealt an injury setback which saw him ruled out for around 10 weeks in total.

But he has been working hard towards a return, and the striker is now said to be in the final stretch of his recuperation.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Aguero is still working away in the gym and he has been set a target return date for next month.

It’s expected he will join in full group training around the middle of October.

Aguero has had a difficult time with injuries over the last year or so, and with that in mind, he nor Barcelona want to take any risks, wanting to make sure he is 100% before making his competitive debut for the Blaugrana.
