The St. Louis Cardinals return to action Friday night with the start a their biggest series of the year so far, a three game set at home against San Diego. The Cardinals lead the Padres by 1/2 a game for the second wild card spot in the National League. Cincinnati is one game back.
Miles Mikolas (0-2) gets the start for St. Louis while San Diego sends Vince Velasquez (3-6) to the mound.
