David Beck of Superior won the Real Street Natural class over Labor Day Weekend to close out the drag racing season on a high note in Brainerd, Minnesota.
Beck defeated Taylor Gullikson of North Branch, Minnesota, in the finals.
Brainerd International Raceway hosted more than 500 drag racers for its season-ending Muscle Car Shootout.
While Beck was victorious, a half-dozen Northland drivers had to settle for runner-up:
Michael Hoey of Hugo, Minnesota, defeated Chris Orr of Superior in the Outlaw class.
Wayne Bellanger of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, defeated Clint Greyerson of Grand Rapids in 660 OS.
Dave Feders of Isanti, Minnesota, defeated Jason King of Saginaw in King Street.
Steve Matsch of Hastings, Minnesota, def. Darrian King of Bovey in Strip Eliminator 1.
Kaytlin Turner of Nowthen, Minnesota, def. Michael Janousele of Duluth in 10.00 Index.
