BICKNELL — Harley Gene Seirp, 80, of Vincennes, went into eternal rest on Monday, Sept. 13, 2021.

Harley was born Sept. 18, 1940, in Bicknell to the late Bill Serip and Esther McGiffen. He grew up at Monroe City, graduating in 1958, and he later moved to Freelandville in 1967. Harley’s occupations were director of transportation for Agrico Chemical Company Southern Indiana, manger of Freelandville Farm Services (IH dealer), and salesman for T.A. Brouliette and Sons. His passion was riding motorcycles. He was a lifetime member of the Goldwing Association, member of the Kentucky Colonel Association of Kentucky, and American Motorcycle Association. He enjoyed many hours of stock car racing, and customizing his vehicles.

Harley is survived by his children, Kathy Telligman (John) of Oaktown, and Ken Seirp; one brother, Wally McGiffen (Diane); three nephews, Ian (Katie), Ryan (Ashley), Justin McGiffen; and five great-nieces and nephews .

Harley was preceded in death by his parents and stepparents.

There will be a private service held at a later date.
