West Babylon is getting a second Lidl grocery store.
The German-based grocery is opening a location at 531 Montauk Highway.
The company is hosting a grand opening Wednesday, Sept. 29. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8 a.m., along with DJ-spun music and giveaways.
The other West Babylon Lidl, located at 725 Sunrise Highway, opened winter of 2019.
Both are former Best Market locations. The company purchased the chain back in 2018 and has plans to transform most of them to Lidls on Long Island.
In addition to the West Babylon store opening, a new Shirley location at 800 Montauk Highway will have a grand opening Wednesday, Sept. 22.
With both new spots, there will be over 20 Lidls on Long Island — and more are still in the works.
