Five Farms Drive house fire

This Stevensville home, a single family dwelling, was unoccupied at the time of the fire. There were no injuries or deaths reported by the State Fire Marshal’s office.

STEVENSVILLE — A malfunctioning air compressor caused a Kent Island house fire Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 8, according to a press release from the Maryland State Fire Marshal.

Thirty firefighters from the United Communities Volunteer Fire Department arrived at the 300 block of Five Farms Drive in Stevensville at approximately 3:32 p.m. responding to a 911 call placed by a passing neighbor.
