Letter: Recovery Fest a great way to support those in recovery

This month, September marks the 32nd anniversary of National Recovery Month, which promotes and supports treatment and recovery practices, and the importance of the recovery community and service providers. Events are held around the country each September.

In Holland, since 2004, we have celebrated with our own Recovery Fest a free community family friendly festival that recognizes the importance of recovery from Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders for the individual, the family and the community.

Once again, this year Recovery Fest will involve a virtual celebration that anyone can access at facebook.com/RFLakeshore.
