It’s Thursday and you know what that means… the ratings are out for another edition of AEW Dynamite.

AEW Dynamite Remains Consistent

This week’s edition of AEW Dynamite was live from Newark, NJ. It was 18 months in the making. Following the success of All Out, AEW Dynamite saw its highest number in the 18-49 demo ever. Was number one on cable and even beat Raw in the ratings. What could they do for an encore?

This week’s edition of Dynamite was by 1,175,000 million people. That is down from the previous after the All Out PPV. The show did a .44 in the 18-49 demo which was about 574,000 viewers. Again that was then RAW in that demo. Per Showbuzzdaily.com AEW Dynamite was first on cable. AEW is consistently putting on a good show and with live crowds back has helped them remain over the million mark.

The highlights of the night and there were plenty of them saw the debut of Adam Cole. He took on Frankie Kazarian in a stellar opening match. Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega had a face-to-face where Omega accepted Danielson’s challenge for a fight. After Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston won their tag team match a brawl broke out between Moxley/Kingston and Minoru Suzuki and Lance Archer. As the feud between these four men is far from over.

Other highlights included Malaki Black and Cody Rhodes brawling through the stands to set up their match next week. FTR was in action along with Darby Allin and Shawn Spears. Not to mention Chris Jericho answering an open challenge. Plus we had CM Punk on commentary. AEW set up a lot of stuff for their big Grand Slam events next week in Arthur Ashe Stadium, where the numbers should be through the roof.
