Hockey season is almost here, and what better way to celebrate than at the Golden Knights annual fan fest.
The event took place September 16 at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center.
Fans in attendance got the opportunity to hang out with their favorite mascot, Chance, and the Vegas Viva cheer team.
Ahead of their season opener against the NHL's newest team, the Seattle Kraken, set for October 12 at T-Mobile Arena, the city got to meet some new faces such as Nolan Patrick and Brett Howden.
Howden and Patrick were each acquired from the Rangers and Predators back in July in a trade that sent forward Cody Glass to Nashville and Nick DeSimone to New York.
Fan favorites William Karlsson and Reilly Smith were also in attendance, taking the stage ahead of the new season.
Notable members not in attendance included Ryan Reaves and Marc-André Fleury, who were both traded during the offseason.
Other activities held at fan fest this year included street hockey, face painting, and an inflatable obstacle course.
Single-day tickets for the 2021-22 season have gone on sale.
