Bluffton honors its veterans with its new brick memorial program.
BLUFFTON, S.C. (WTGS) —
The Town of Bluffton has come up with a new way to honor our veterans. Kay Ranta, Auxillary Unit 205 Chaplain from the American Legion, said the organization has partnered with the town to build a memorial for veterans. Now, they have a “buy-a-brick” program to involve the community in the effort.

“Not only would it help us monetarily, but it would also enable everyone to honor or remember a loved one in a small way,” Ranta said.
The bricks are $100 each, with three lines of text of the buyer’s choice, and Ranta said the proceeds from The Memorial Brick Program will go towards paying the town for the memorial.
