Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons Second Beta kicks off September 21

Players can test drive the Gunsaber-Wielding Bladesworn, Dual-Natured Vindicator, and Jade-Tech-Manipulating Catalyst coming to the new expansion in 2022.

ArenaNet have officially announced that the Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons Second Beta test will be starting on September 21, 2021. The beta will feature three new character elite specialisations.

Logging in to Guild Wars 2 beginning at 9:00 AM. on September 21 will grant players the ability to create up to three new characters automatically powered to the level 80 cap, and with the ability to choose the new bladesworn, vindicator, and catalyst elite specializations for the warrior, revenant, and elementalist professions, respectively.

The beta will run through September 25 and be available to everyone, including play-for-free accounts. Each new elite specialization provides a new twist on the core Guild Wars 2 professions, opening up new gameplay possibilities while exploring new avenues of player expression via new skills and abilities. 

A detailed gameplay showcase of the beta will be broadcast on the Guild Wars 2 Twitch channel on Friday, September 17 at 12 PM PT. 

The final three elite specializations are set to be revealed leading up to the third End of Dragons beta, which begins October 26 and runs through October 30, with one final beta event featuring all nine professions taking place in November.

Guild Wars 2 expansion End of Dragons will be coming sometime in February 2022. ArenaNet still have not revealed a specific release date.
