Rochester CEOs feel targeted with vaccine mandate for companies with over 100 employees
Rochester businesses express worry as the date approaches for President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate.
Any employers that have over 100 employees are required to mandate the vaccine in their business.
Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Bob Duffy says he spoke to a local CEO that is in favor of the vaccine but not the mandate.
The CEO he spoke to said many of his employees are seeking employment with companies that have under 100 employees.
He went on to say that the unnamed CEO felt that his company was being targeted because it was penalized if not mandating the vaccine, and penalized of it does mandated it and loses workers.
