No Central A&M game Saturday after opponent cancels due to COVID-19

CLINTON, Ill. (WICS/WRSP) —
Central A&M High School's football team will not be able to play this weekend.

This comes after the team they were supposed to face off against had to cancel due to COVID-19.
Central A&M was set to play Clinton High School on Saturday, Sept. 18.
Clinton school officials said their team is unable to play due to COVID-19 protocols.
Since Central A&M was unable to find another varsity football team to play against on Saturday, the varsity football team will not be playing this weekend.

Central A&M's Senior Day will now be moved to October 1 when they take on Warrensburg-Latham. It will also be Central A&M's homecoming celebration.
