Emmerdale spoilers follow.
In tonight's Emmerdale double-bill (September 16), Rhona was shockingly arrested after confronting Cathy about cyber-bullying April.
April opened up to Rhona about her struggles with bullying online, saying she had re-downloaded the apps and the bully had posted her phone number online.
"We have to do something about this," Rhona told April. After pleading with April to reveal who the bully was, Rhona started to think it could be Cathy.
However, Rhona and April found out that Cathy had run away from home.

Rhona explained the situation to Marlon: "Someone's even saying they know where she is." The conversation quickly turned into an argument as Marlon realised he was out of the loop with his daughter's ordeal.
Later, April told him: "I thought if I told you it might make things worse."
Rhona eventually found and confronted Cathy, threatening to tell her father, Brenda and her school about the bullying. "This is not going to end well for you," Rhona told her.
Cathy ran away, but Rhona caught up with her on Main Street, just as Bob and Brenda spotted her.
Brenda stepped in as Rhona grabbed Cathy's arm to stop her from running away again. Rhona tried to elbow Brenda off and hit her in the face, knocking her to the ground.

Brenda was furious about Rhona's "manhandling", calling her a "lunatic". But when they stopped arguing, Cathy confessed: "It was me. I was the troll that made everyone hate April."
Despite the confession, Brenda continued to slam Rhona for "assaulting" her in the street. Even when Bob demanded answers from Cathy, Brenda told him to leave her alone as she had been "traumatised by what's happened".
Rhona told April about the altercation, but Marlon assured her that he and Rhona would deal with the situation however April wanted them to. April was insistent that she didn't want any more people to find out who the troll really was.

Just as they calmed April down, a police officer showed up at the house to arrest Rhona, citing "allegations of assault made by Brenda".
When Rhona arrived home, she confirmed that she has been charged and is due to appear in court next month.
She also revealed that she told the police all about the bullying, despite April's pleas for her to keep it to herself. But Rhona claimed it was the only way to justify what she'd done to Brenda.

Marlon and Rhona continued to argue and worry about April now having to tell the police about her ordeal, as evidence for Rhona's case.
April told her: "I hate you for this."
